LaSorgiva: Passion, Tradition and Innovation in the Heart of Bolgheri
LasorgivA aims to be the truest expression of Laura’s deep knowledge of the Bolgheri region. This winery was born from her desire to express a unique identity through the production of premium wines, capable of telling the story of her profound connection to the land.
The name LasorgivA holds a deep meaning: the logo, at the center of the letter “O”, contains a sprout, a symbol of growth and new life inspired by the art of the Etruscan civilization. A tribute to the history and roots of Bolgheri — a remarkable land where tradition and innovation come together to create wines with a truly authentic soul.
The search for the pictogram stems from the desire to visually express the concept that the winery aims to convey through its brand.
Between rebirth and belonging to the land, the choice fell on an investigation of pictorial elements from the Etruscan civilization.
What emerged is a graphic reinterpretation of a decorative motif widely used by the Etruscans, especially in vase painting, where subjects often reference deities connected to nature, water, olive oil, and, notably, to the harvest and the worship of wine. This representation is tied to the concept of life—of the sprout that is born and grows to bear fruit—or of the spring itself, as the cult of water was of great importance to the Etruscan people.
